UMvC3 moveset idea: Cody

Theme Song: Cody's Theme from Super Street Fighter IV

Intro: Cody is seen sitting on ground, throwing small rocks up and down. Cody then throws the rocks away, gets up, scrathes back of his head and then gets to posision.
Intro Lines:
-"Don't get me bored here."
-"It's not like I have anything better to do."
-"Don't dissapoint me here, buddy."
(Vs. Haggar)
Cody: I guess this was bound to happen or what, Haggar?
Haggar: I really hoped this could come true.
(Vs Chun-Li)
Cody: Am I in trouble, officer?
Chun-Li: Okay, what did you do this time?
(Vs Captain America)
Cody: More of a hero than I am.
Captain America: Its time you cleaned up your act!


Normal Attacks:

Ground:
Light Attack: Cody punches towards/stabs with his knife

Medium Attack: Cody dkicks towards with his right leg

Hard Attack: Cody does a uppercut/Cody slashes with his knife

Special: Cody kicks upwards which sends opponent into the air


Croutch:
Light Attack: Punches straight towards/Stabs with his knife

Medium Attack: Slides towards while having his other leg up

Hard Attack: Puts his hand togehter and strikes with them upwards/Cody stabs upwards


Air:
Light Attack: Cody kicks upwards

Medium Attack: Cody does a karate chop downwards/Cody slashs with his knife

Hard Attack: Cody dos a overhead kick

Special: Cody puts his hands togehter and punches downwards/Cody stabs downwards


Throws:
Prisoner Throw: Cody grabs on opponent, turns around with opponent and then throws th opponent over his shoulder

Bad Stomp: Cody pulls opponent down, jumps off the opponent's neck and then does a dive kick to opponent's neck


Command Normals



Pick up Knife (Down+down+Special while over his knife): Cody picks up his knife. During this, all of his punch normals turn into different attacks with his knife and  Cody can do the Knife Throw. Knife drops out of Cody's hands if he is hit while holding it, does a taunt or he does a Hyper Combo. There is only one knife per match so if there is two Codys, only one can pick the knife up.

Stomach Blow (Down-fowards+Medium Attack): Cody does a low punch so hard, it makes Cody moves towards slightly.

Jaw Crusher (Bakcwards+Medium Attack button): Cody does a super fast uppercut

Crack Kick (Towards+Medium Attack button): Cody does a jumpping karate kick

Hammer Hook (Towards+Hard Attack button): Cody does a medium ranged overhead punch where he slams the ground with his fist. Does multiple hits and hits OTG


Special Moves:
Bad Stone(Quarter Circle Towards+Any Attack button): Cody picks up rocks out of the ground and then throws them at opponent. The button what was pressed depend how far and fast the rocks go (trough any version doesn't go fullscreen. Holding the attack button makes move to be delayed.
  -Knife Throw (Quarter Circle Towards+Any Attack button while having the knife): Rather than picking up stones, he throws his knife instead. The knife throw cannot be delayded but the knife will travel full screen and does more damage than the stones.
  -Fake Bad Stone (Quarter Circle Towards+Special Attack button): Cody picks up rocks from the ground but drops the rocks right away, faking out the move.

Criminal Upper (Quarter Circle Backwards+Any Attack button): Cody does a uppercut so hard, it creates a hurricane when he does it. Cody travels bit towards when you do the move.

Ruffian Kick(Shoryuken-motion+Any Attack button): Cody does a kick while sliding across the ground. The button what was pressed depend what kinda kick he does. (L) Cody's leg slides across the ground. (M) Cody's leg is straight towards. (H) Cody has his leg up while doing it.

Zonk Knuckle (Special+Any Attack button): Cody does a sideways punch while sliding across the ground. Causes wallbounce. You can hold the button down to charge the move up do to more damage.

Bad Spray(Up+Any Attack button when standing from knockdown): When Cody get's up, he throws dust towards, hitting opponent if the opponent is close.


Hyper Combos:

(Level 1) Dead End Irony (Quarter Circle Towards+Two attack buttons): Cody yells "Crash!" and then does a Ruffian Kick depended what button combination was pressed. After doing the Ruffian Kick, he throws two aerial front kicks and side kick, then roundhouse kick, aerial roundhouse kick and finally aerial side kick while saying "Finish!"

(Level) Final Destruction (Quarter Circle Backwards+Two Attack buttons): Cody says "Ready to start fighting for real?" as he crakcs his knuckles. He then does a side hook to opponent. If it connects, he says "Jackpot" and does two-handed upwards punch, punch to the stomach and another for jaw, backhand punch and then he get's low and does a Criminal Upper while saying "Uppsy, finish!". Can be followed up with air combo.

(Level 3)Last Dread Dust (Half Circle Towards+Two Attack buttons): Cody says "Making me sleepy" while scartching back of his head and shrugs. He then kicks a cloud of dust, which travels across the ground about half screen. When the dust stops moving, Cody picks up a wrench and does overhead swing, side swing and repeats those two again with the wrench. He finally does a uppercut with the wrench, which sends opponent into the air. Cody then pulls out a lead pipe behind him and says "Get out of my face" and then hits falling opponent tot he back with it. Opponent then flies to the edge of the area before coming down while Cody whishles and says "Finished practicing now?"


Taunt: Cody cracks his knuckles and then shakes his wrist while saying "You're ready fighting for real?" or "You can do better than that, right?"


Victory Pose: Cody cleans his hands screthes his arms behind his back and then starts scrathcing back of his head.
Victory Lines:
-"How boring you were"

-"That is? Waste of time"

-"Man, should have taken on some other guy"

To Haggar: Iam dissapointed to you, Haggar.

To Captain America: I was once a hero, but not anymore

To Vergil: "You got motivated? I sure weren't."

Abilities: Cody has been trained in martial arts ever since he was nine, mainly in karate and boxing, making him dangerous in street fighting.

Weapons: From knives, pipes and wrenches, Cody can pick up all kinds of stuff what can be used as weapons and be dangerous with it.

Description: Cody's lust for fighting has him led to troubles as he was eventually put in jail. However, whenever Cody fels like picking a fight, he simply escapes the jail to find one.
